On Nov. 3, 2018, the Georgia Department of Agriculture conducted a full inspection of the Hall County Animal Shelter. The inspection was random and unannounced. The findings are as follows:A full inspection of all premises, enclosures, staff performance, and animal care was approved at or above all required standards. In addition, the following was also cited in the report:• All outside enclosures, including the stable area for livestock, was found to be at or above all required standards.• Inside the shelter, all the rooms were observed as clean and there were no housekeeping issues to report. • All animals are fed at certain times of the day and ALL animals had access to clean water at all times.• All required licenses were current and displayed.• The Hall County Animal Shelter passed all requirements and no violations were noted.This is the second inspection in 2018. Both found the Hall County Animal Shelter to be in 100% compliance with Georgia Department of Agriculture standards.
