Flags at Hall County Government facilities are being flown at half-staff in recognition of the death of former Hall County Commission Chairman Curtis Segars.
“We are truly grateful for Curtis’ years of service and owe him significant credit for the current quality of life Hall County citizens enjoy today,” said Hall County Commission Chairman Richard Mecum.
Segars passed away Monday at the age of 81. He served as chairman of the Hall County Board of Commissioners from 1989 to 1992.
“Our thoughts and prayers are with the Segars family,” Hall County District 4 Commissioner Jeff Stowe said. “His leadership and dedication to public service will be sorely missed.”
