We close for lunch from 12:00 pm to 1:00 pm everyday.
We open at 9:30 am the first Wednesday of each month.
Provides general health services such as immunizations, well baby check up, health check, hearing/vision/dental screening, dental services for children, blood pressure checks, laboratory services, screening and referral services for refugees, family planning, women's health, pregnancy tests, prenatal care, presumptive eligibility Medicaid, perinatal case management, mammography, Breast Test and More, STD/HIV testing, treatment and counseling, tuberculosis screening and treatment, teen clinic, international travel clinic, WIC (Women, Infants and Children). Services are available to anyone. Some services are based on a sliding scale. We accept Medicaid, Medicare, Peachcare, cash, Visa, MasterCard and Discover for payment. The Hall County Board of Health oversees the activities and programs of the Hall County Health Department. A function of the BOH is to determine the health needs and resources of the county by research, collection and evaluations of data pertaining to the health of the community. The BOH is also responsible for developing in cooperation with the DPH, programs, activities, and facilities responsive to the health needs of the county and insuring compliance with rules and regulations of the DPH. The BOH is charged with enforcement of all laws pertaining to health unless the enforcement of those laws is by law the responsibility of another agency.

Northeast Georgia Physician's Group offers primary care clinic services for adults with chronic illnesses as well as preventative services. Although the clinic is located at the health department, it is not a health department program. Please contact Northeast Georgia Physician's Group for information regarding their services and hours of operation.

This department provides birth certificates and death certificates for individuals born in all counties in Georgia. By law, only the following person(s) is/are entitled to a certificate.
Who can request a birth certificate?
- The person named on the certificate
- The parents listed on the certificate
- The authorized legal guardian, grandparent, adult sibling, adult child, or spouse of the person named on the certificate. Proof of relationship is required
Who can request a death certificate?
- The parents listed on the certificate
- The authorized legal guardian, grandparent, adult sibling, adult child, or spouse of the person named on the certificate. Proof of relationship is required
- Legal representative of the family members
Death certificates are only issued to applicants having a direct and tangible interest, primary family members or legal representatives of the family. It shall be the responsibility of the applicant to show proof of right or claim.
To purchase a birth certificate:
- Request in person: Please visit us at the Hall County Health Department. You must have a government issued ID, i.e. Driver's License, Passport, State of Georgia ID and proof of relationship if required. The non-refundable search fee for a birth certificate is $25.00. This fee includes one certified certificate, if found. Additional certified certificates for the same person ordered at the same time are $5.00 each. We accept Cash, Discover, MasterCard and Visa (cardholder must be present with ID). No personal checks are accepted.
- Request by mail: Please mail a signed request that includes the following information along with a money order made payable to Hall County Vital Records.
- Copy of photo ID
- Full name of person shown on the birth certificate (maiden name if female)
- Date of birth (month, day, year)
- Place of birth (hospital, city, county)
- Full name of mother (include mother's maiden name)
- Full name of father
- Relationship to the person named on the birth certificate. Must include documents to prove relationship.
- The number of certificates requested and the appropriate fee
- Telephone number and a self addressed stamped envelope must be included
