Hall County Government Center - Third Floor
The Gainesville-Hall Metropolitan Planning Organization (GHMPO) is the intergovernmental transportation planning agency for Hall County. The GHMPO conducts the Gainesville-Hall Transportation Study, which is the federally mandated transportation planning process for the Gainesville urbanized area as identified in the 2000 U.S. Census. This urbanized area includes the jurisdictions of Flowery Branch, Gainesville, Hall County and Oakwood.
An important part of this planning process is the public’s participation in developing long term goals and setting short term priorities for the County’s transportation system. We invite you to visit our stand-alone website at www.ghmpo.org and review the information, plans and projects, and provide us with your thoughts and feedback regarding the transportation issues facing our area.
