Tom Oliver has served as Board of Commissioners Chairman since 2005 and began his second four-year term in January 2009. He previously served as South Hall commissioner from 1991-94.
A poultry and cattle farmer, Chairman Oliver is a member of Georgia Angus Association, Georgia Egg Board, the ACCG Pension & Trust Board and the Metropolitan North Georgia Water Planning District Board. He is a charter member of South Hall Rotary Club, and Hall County Farm Bureau.
Chairman Oliver and his wife, Sally, are parents of son Jay and daughters Katy Hutchinson and Caroline.
