Hall Area Transit, home to the Red Rabbit, kicked off a new bus route this week to serve the Hall County Government Center, which will eventually house most county administrative offices. The Elections Office is currently operating out of the new Government Center at 2875 Browns Bridge Road, and all other offices are expected to move in by the fall.
Route details: Route 7 begins on Memorial Park at the corner of Atlanta Highway, then travels down Memorial Park past the Boys and Girls Club and several poultry plants. At Browns Bridge Road, the bus will turn left, then briefly enter into the new Hall County Government Center parking lot before returning to Browns Bridge and turning right onto McEver Road. Once on McEver, the bus will pass McEver Vinyards Apartments, the Georgia Department of Family and Children Services, Kohl's and several other retail stores. The route ends by turning left onto Dawsonville Highway near Jackson EMC and turns around at the Lake Forest Apartment Complex on Otilla Drive.
