Road Closings & Construction  As
our county's population grows we are diligently working to improve
our road system. To make your travel more convenient in Hall County
we have provided the following list of road closings and construction
areas. Closure of Dale Road Cagle Road Railroad Crossing Roy Parks Road Closure Traffic Operations Change - Sardis Road Green Street at Ridgewood Avenue lane closures

 Closure of Dale Road 8/19/2008 Dale Road will be closed to thru traffic beginning Monday, August 25 at 8:00 a.m. due to water lines being constructed in the area. The road will reopen Tuesday morning, August 26. Weaver Road can be used as an alternate route on Monday. Please call Chris Bryant, Right of Way Agent, in the Hall County Engineering Division, at (770) 531-6800, for more information. Cagle Road Railroad Crossing 7/23/2008 Norfolk Southern will be working on the railroad crossing at Cagle Road. This crossing will be the northern crossing in the vicinity of Cagle Road and SR 365. Cagle Road will be closed at the crossing while this work is underway. Norfolk Southern will contact dispatch when they begin the work and once the work is completed. Roy Parks Road Closure 7/7/2008 Roy Parks road will be closed to all thru traffic between Talmo Road and A.L. Mangum Road until July 11, 2008. This closure is due to culvert repair. Should you have any questions or concerns, please contact Kem Smith at (770) 531-6825. Traffic Operations Change - Sardis Road 7/1/2008 The 4 lane section of Sardis Road is now operational. The signal at Sardis Road and Chestatee Road is also operational. Green Street at Ridgewood Avenue lane closures 6/6/2008 Green Street at Ridgewood Avenue June 7-8, 2008 9:00am until 3:00pm Expect various lane closures and delays while traffic signal upgrades take place.
