Hall Area Transit (HAT) is a public transportation service designed to provide accessible, convenient and dependable transportation in the Gainesville / Hall County area. The availability of this transportation system increases the mobility of citizens for such essential purposes as employment, health care, education, shopping, community services, recreation, and conducting personal business. Hall Area Transit is funded jointly by the Gainesville / Hall County Governments, the Georgia Department of Transportation and the Federal Transit Administration.

1. The Red Rabbit, the fixed route within the City of Gainesville, and
2. Dial-A-Ride, the curb-to-curb service for the outlying areas of Hall County
